The first is that the belt load of the conveyor is too heavy, which exceeds the capacity of the motor, so it will slip. At this time, the transport volume of the transported materials should be reduced or the load-bearing capacity of the conveyor itself should be increased.
The second is that the conveyor starts too fast and causes slippage. At this time, it should be started slowly or restarted after jogging twice again, which can also overcome the slipping phenomenon.
The third is that the initial tension is too small. The reason is that the tension of the conveyor belt is not enough when it leaves the drum, which causes the conveyor belt to slip. The solution at this time is to adjust the tensioning device and increase the initial tension.
The fourth is that the bearing of the drum is damaged and does not rotate. The reason may be that too much dust has accumulated or that the parts that have been severely worn and inflexible have not been repaired and replaced in time, resulting in increased resistance and slippage.
The fifth is the slippage caused by insufficient friction between the rollers driven by the conveyor and the conveyor belt. The reason is mostly that there is moisture on the conveyor belt or the working environment is humid. At this time, a little rosin powder should be added to the drum.
