The belt conveyor can be selected according to the requirements of the process, such as ordinary continuous operation, rhythm continuous operation, variable speed operation and other control methods; the belt conveyor should also be selected according to local conditions. As the belt conveyor plays a transitional role in various industries, it is also the most important auxiliary equipment in the belt conveyor. Therefore, how to correctly select the belt conveyor is also crucial for the production enterprise.
When we choose a belt conveyor, we must first determine many factors such as the material of the conveyor belt, the technical parameters of the bandwidth, etc. according to the industry in which it is applied. For example, the rubber belt is suitable for the working environment temperature between 15 degrees and 40 degrees, and the material temperature does not exceed 50 degrees. Plastic belts have the advantages of being resistant to oil, acid and alkali, but have poor adaptability to climate, and are easy to slip and age. Secondly, we need to correctly select the belt speed of the belt conveyor. In a long horizontal conveyor, a higher belt speed should be preferred; the greater the inclination of the conveyor, the shorter the conveying distance of the fuselage, the lower the speed of the conveyor belt.
